About Me

Hi, my name is Sue Powell and I live in the City of Worcester with my husband Mark. I started collecting Teddy Bears about 10 years ago and I started making my own Ted's about six years ago. After visiting a few bear show I decided to have a go at designing a bear for myself and I caught the bug and have not stopped since.I love going to shows to meeting and talking to other bear artist's.

About my Bears 

I design all the bears myself and I use German and English Mohair.  The paws and pads are Ultra Suede or Cashmere and they all have Black Glass Eyes.  I use cotter pin joints and also nuts and bolts.  They are filled with heavy grade Polyfibre, steel shot, ball bearings or plastic pellets.

All the bears have a cross stitched swing tag.

The bears are all hand sewn and come from a smoke free home.

They are collectors bears and therefore not suitable for children under 14 years old.
